The Villa Gunung project will involve the building of 10 (6 two bedroom, 187.5 square meter and 4 three bedroom, 243 square meter) villas in a rural location north of the town of Ubud in central Bali. A range of shared common facilities will also be built including swimming pool, poolside barbeque area, library, business centre, TV/video viewing room, coffee bar, exercise room, massage rooms, indoor Jacuzzi and car park. All will be set in a landscaped garden environment with beautiful panoramic views.

Each villa will be self contained with bathrooms attached to each bedroom, open plan living and dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen. To save space and expense, common laundry and clothes drying facilities will be located in a central area. Each villa will be set in a landscaped garden with decorative pools. Private swimming pools (for two and three bedroom villas) are options for each villa type.

The villa complex will be built in a quiet rural location of 1.2 hectares (120 are or 4 acres) of leased land on a hillside with beautiful panoramic views into a forested valley overlooking rice paddies. The location is on the outskirts of the small village of Bresela which lies around 12 km due north of the cultural centre of Ubud-a 15 minute drive away. This location ensures a quiet, peaceful and safe environment while being close to many of Bali’s cultural attractions and the opportunities the unspoiled natural environment offers for walking, biking and exploring.The nearest beach is a 50 minute drive away and the international airport an hour and a half away. Many of the most interesting cultural, artistic and religious sites and activities in Bali are found in the villages in and around Ubud and are therefore within a 30 minute drive from the villa location.
